Junior Data Analyst - BrightScope (Open to Fresh Graduates)

ISS STOXX is growing! We are looking for a Junior Analyst to support our Market Intelligence BrightScope Data Analyst Team. BrightScope is a leading provider of retirement plans, sales, and distribution data for the institutional investment and retirement markets. Responsibilities

• Collect input data while ensuring accuracy and consistency in routinary data entry tasks.
• Collect and classify information from several financial documents and regulatory filings based on established methodologies.
• integrate and organize data from source documents related to investment vehicles such as Mutual Funds, ETFs, Pooled Separate Accounts, and Collective Trusts.
• Research, gather and update data related to individuals and firms in the financial services industry.
• Actively participate in committees, projects, and initiatives beyond core responsibilities as needed.
• Communicate progress, potential issues, and risks related to operations in a timely and effective manner.
• When assigned, ensure that all relevant databases are regularly updated and maintained to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain appropriate paper and electronic records in accordance with ISS and client file retention policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or any closely related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Office, with a strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Technologically adept, fast learner, able to master new concepts, theories, ideas and processes with ease.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; can thrive in a cross-border or multi-cultural work environment.
• Highly adaptable, with the ability to manage a variety of changing tasks when assigned by the manager throughout the workday
• Ability to work under pressure and a rigorous set of performance metrics.
• Flexible and open to working both traditional and non-traditional hours as business needs require.
• Work Location & Schedule:
• Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent day shift schedule (10am - 7pm, Manila Time)
• Amenable to go on a 2-6 months onsite training prior to transitioning to hybrid working arrangement.
• Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days' work onsite per week)
