What You Can Expect : We are looking for an Accounting Head to lead our Finance team in Bogotá. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial information, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring full compliance with local and international accounting standards. You will play a key role in our monthly closing cycles, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement of accounting processes - all while leading and developing a high-performing team. Lead the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with IFRS (NIIF) and local Colombian accounting standards. Oversee monthly accounting closing cycles, including provisions, account reconciliations, and intercompany consolidations. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management, regulatory bodies (DIAN, DANE, Supersociedades), and internal stakeholders. Coordinate and respond to internal and external audits, ensuring all supporting documentation is readily available. Monitor and improve accounting processes to optimize data quality, reporting timelines, and operational efficiency. Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. What You Bring: Degree in Public Accounting (CPA) with a specialization in Taxation, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of specific experience in accounting roles, ideally within multinational or logistics environments. Strong knowledge of IFRS (NIIF) and Colombian tax and accounting regulations. Proficiency in Great Plains and/or SAP; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, financial models). Proven experience managing accounting teams and driving process improvement initiatives. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to deadlines.
