About the role

As an Increment Manager with the Mission Integration and Operations Office, you will be responsible for providing leadership within the International Space Station (ISS) Program for the integration/execution of complex planning, prioritization, and impact assessment activities that drive the establishment and implementation of ISS Program requirements both at the Increment-specific and overall ISS Program level. In addition to the Basic Education Requirement (in the Education section below), to qualify for this position you must meet the requirements below. NASA utilizes OPM-approved qualification and rating requirements specific for Aerospace Technology (AST) positions which recognizes NASA's unique aerospace work. The specific qualifications and minimum education requirements are further described below and within the education section of the job announcement. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Leading mission integration planning and execution activities for complex aerospace programs to establish, prioritize, and implement program level and mission specific requirements aligned with operational objectives; Applying international spaceflight agreements and operational policies to coordinate multi-national partner participation and lead the development and prioritization of mission-specific and cross-mission requirements through formal program decision boards and panels; Communicating technical and managerial information orally and in writing to collaborate with government organizations, aerospace contractors, and international partners in support of mission integration and operations.
