Procurement Specialist

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a high-performing team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activity across a range of projects, driving value, efficiency, and compliance in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote for the duration of the project. This role is a contract position working inside IR35. Key Responsibilities Deliver end-to-end procurement activity, from sourcing strategy through to contract award Engage stakeholders to understand requirements and provide commercial support Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and selection Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and relevant regulations Develop and manage supplier relationships to drive value and performance Support contract management activities, including risk mitigation and performance tracking Produce clear procurement documentation, reports, and audit trails Skills & Experience Proven experience in a procurement or sourcing role within complex environments Experience across Estates, Finance, People, Pensions and Operations Strong knowledge of procurement processes, governance, and best practice Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and deliver commercial outcomes Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills Experience managing multiple procurement activities simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Desirable Knowledge of relevant procurement regulations or frameworks Professional procurement accreditation (e.g. CIPS)
