Set-up, run and maintain the automated machines in the Cuff Department
Read and follow drawings and other related instructional and quality documents related to the product
O perate Calibrated Leak Testing Equipment, plus use calipers and other measuring devices
Perform routine assembly operations like fold ing , label ing and box ing product .
Use SAP, HMI controls &/or PC software to keep the machines operationa l .
Diagnose, fix, or get technical support to take care of faulty operations and/or equipment malfunctions .
O ffer suggestions for improvements, help to resolve manufacturing issues, and monitor production for manufacturing results.
You may package component parts or assemblies for shipment, ensuring protection from potential shipment damage and that all vital parts and instructions are present.
Commit to a Zero-Harm workplace and ensure Safety policies are followed . Timely reporting of all safety incidents.
Consistently work in a safe manner utilizing personal protective equipment and trained procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of co-workers.
Ensure all quality and regulatory policies are carried out by yourself and the team.
Visually inspects own and others work for quality of product.
Support Baxter Operating System (BOS) functions like leading shift meetings, maintain hour by hour boards, auditing against BOS standards.
Maintain department equipment in appropriate working order and ensure that department is clean and adheres to 6 S standards.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required .
2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably running automated machines .
Leadership experience is a plus.
Experience working in a regulated industry is a plus.
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
Experienced with ERP systems- SAP or similar for managing the inventory is preferred.
Proficient with MS Office.
Follow all s afety guidelines.
Basic math and computer skills .
Capable of working diligently around chemicals .
Ability to work independently.
Ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
Ability to give simple verbal and written instructions to others .
Ability to interact effectively with co-workers .
Baxter Certified Trainer qualification.
Knowledge of GMP/manufacturing environment and regulatory compliance for the manufacturing of bulk and finished products and current industry standards related to sterilization, cleaning and other validation processes .

In this pivotal role on our Blood Pressure Cuffs team within the Manufacturing department , you will work collaboratively with Supervisors and Materials Planning to prioritize work to ensure that customer deliveries are achieved, and that production plans are successfully executed. As the Group Leader, you will take the lead and give direction to a group of operators, support cuff operations in order to maximize output with limited waste and execute processes in a safe and quality driven manner. You will be the first level of escalation to resolve production issues and ensure tasks are met.
Additionally, you will set-up , run and maintain the automated machines with in the Cuff Department . You must have a high level of mechanical skills with the capability to use root cause analysis to troubleshoot machining issues to diagnose and fix issues that arise with a high sense of urgency to achieve departmental goals.
