Responsibilities

  • Required Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship, high school diploma or GED, and minimum age of 21.
  • Active Massachusetts driver's license and unrestricted License to Carry Firearms.
  • Ability to obtain and retain POST certification, Special State Police powers, and Suffolk County Deputy Sheriff powers.
  • Successful completion of medical, psychological, and background screenings, as well as required training and field evaluations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice (or related field) or a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Prior campus law enforcement experience and familiarity with the IMC operating system.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
  • Strong understanding of higher education culture and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
