Due to changes in service delivery, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requirements, and the (ENCORE) caseload management system, this role will support significant training efforts across the state. The specialist must have strong knowledge of casework methodology and Rehabilitation Counseling policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include assisting college and university students in securing internships within the Eastern Region. This position ensures staff remain current with rehabilitation practices, requirements, policies, procedures, and technology. The role supports the Eastern Regional Management Team and collaborates with section leaders within EIPD. The specialist develops, coordinates, and delivers training aligned with the Division's strategic plan to improve services and outcomes for individuals with disabilities. Job responsibilities include: * Planning, coordinating, and implementing training and organizational development projects * Designing and developing training curricula and materials * Delivering training using various instructional methods, both in person and virtually * Coordinating on-site training logistics and attendance * Administering training programs, including scheduling, communications, materials, ADA accommodations, travel authorizations, LMS functions, and evaluations * Facilitating communication between colleges/universities, students, and Eastern Region offices regarding internships * Daily and overnight travel for extended periods within the assigned area will be required.
