Job Description This role is supporting directly the resiliency approach for electronics manufacturing via our EMS partner in different roadmap to ensure right quality of product to be produced in different geographic location. Core Responsibilities On-Floor Process Control: Implement and audit in-process quality controls. Ensure that all production lines adhere to the Control Plan, Work Instructions, and Technical Specifications. Real-time Defect Mitigation: Define and implement the process on reaction & escalation for quality excursions occur or production halts, implement exemption process in according to the pre-defined process if needed Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Drive and approve the shop-floor problem-solving using 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why methodologies. Ensure that corrective actions are not just detailed but physically implemented and effective on the line. Statistical Process Control (SPC): Monitor live production data and control charts. Identify trends or shifts in process capability (\(Cpk\)) and intervene before products fall out of specification. Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing): Monitors and collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering to build and implement physical or digital "mistake-proofing" solutions to eliminate human error during assembly. Layered Process Audits (LPA): Conduct regular, structured audits of manufacturing processes to ensure operators and supervisors are following standardized work. Gage & Tooling Management: Work with supplier's quality engineering on the calibration and MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) of all gauges, jigs, and fixtures used on the production line. Quality Representative: Being the quality representative for specific suppliers on bridging all quality compliance change and responsible for quality performance New Product Introduction (NPI): Support the product, production approval activities from NPI team via different agreed tools or process, and verify suppliers can consistently manufacture parts to specification. Supplier Auditing: Conduct regular on-site audits (system, process, and product audits) to verify compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other industry-specific regulations. Performance Monitoring: Maintain Supplier Scorecards to track key metrics such as DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million), timely delivery, and SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) responsiveness. Corrective Action Management: When defective material is identified (either at incoming inspection or on the production line), lead the SCAR process. Drive suppliers to identify root causes and implement permanent systemic fixes. Are you up for the challenge? Deep knowledge on quality management system and six sigma methodology Shown experience on driving supplier development initiatives sought at process improvement, reducing variation and decreasing wast Strong capability on leading 8D report analysis seeking at the corrective and preventive actions.
