As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles, adhering to routes and schedules, and providing excellent customer service. Shift: Monday to Friday with occasional need for weekend work Hours of work: Dayshift role with varying hours dependent on daily routes required Salary: £16.50 per hour Key Responsibilities Drive HGV vehicles responsibly and safely to deliver products across assigned routes. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Manage delivery schedules effectively to meet customer expectations. Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle reports. Load and unload goods when necessary, ensuring careful handling of products. Communicate with relevant departments and customers to report any delays or issues. Maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of the vehicle at all times. Valid HGV Class 1 licence Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card Previous experience in a similar driving role (FMCG or food industry preferred) Strong knowledge of UK road networks and compliance requirements Flexible approach to working hours Good communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Long Service Awards Employee of the Month & On the Spot Awards Discounted Staff Sales Life Assurance Access to Free Wellbeing Services (inc. counselling and financial advice).
