Event Workforce Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an Event Workforce Coordinator to join our People team on a maximum term contract basis until December 2026. In this role, you will support the delivery of end-to-end event workforce coordination across major events, ensuring a consistent, efficient, and engaging experience for casual staff and volunteers. In this role you will: Coordinate activities across the full event workforce lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and compliance, ensuring all team members are event ready. Deliver end-to-end recruitment for casual and volunteer roles, including expression of interest processes, shortlisting, and assessments, while supporting inclusive hiring practices. Ensure accurate and timely updates across HR systems, maintaining data integrity, supporting reporting, and identifying gaps or risks. Act as a key point of contact for hiring managers and internal teams, manage shared inbox queries, and deliver clear, timely communications to the workforce. Contribute to identifying improvements to systems and processes, referring recommendations as appropriate. About you To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in HR administration, recruitment, or workforce coordination in a high-volume or fast-paced environment (e.g. events, sport, hospitality). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight timelines. Experience working with HR systems and managing workforce data. A proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused approach to coordination and administration. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and support managers effectively. A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
