At least 7 years of medium to large-scale project experience in a project management or similar role
At least 7 to 10 years of strong experience with project or program planning, resource planning, work plan development, and project management processes
PMP certification
Demonstrated prior experience with blended methodologies at the enterprise-level of an organization
Experience working within Medicaid & Long-Term Care Information Systems
Experience with a variety of software delivery lifecycles (SDLC), including Waterfall and Agile (preferably Scrum).

Job Description:
The Senior IT Project Manager/BA Coordinator is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile and hybrid project teams with a focus on achieving business results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing medium to large-scale Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) projects and resources, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
This is a full-time/permanent on-site role in Lincoln, Nebraska. Not eligible to be a contracted position.

Examples of Work
Project Planning and Management: Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning and operational readiness for assigned projects. As a Senior or expert level, the PM may be responsible for complex, highly visible projects that require significant oversight.
Project Team/Team Management : Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, remove roadblocks to their work; leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentor and develop team members; facilitate the efficient use of resources across multiple projects and monitor trends to ensure use aligns with strategic goals.
Product Owner Support: Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and help with an effective system of project governance. May also serve in the Product Owner role at times.
Communication and Documentation: Keeping stakeholders informed, resolving issues, and maintaining project documentation utilizing project management tools
Leadership: Promotes empowerment of the team, ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project(s) and understands how to motivate members to make a meaningful contribution.
Vendor Management: May include the monitoring and reporting of vendor performance metrics. Drive vendors delivery against specific contract deliverables.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, public administration, business information systems, or a field related to the functions of the hiring agency AND seven years of experience as a project manager/program manager with the responsibility to oversee the coordination, planning, initiation, and completion of major/long-term projects OR Five years of experience and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) OR Seven years of experience working on complex projects. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
