About the role

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? Control Framework & Process Governance Establish and maintain robust business process controls, including identifying key risks, controls, and ownership to ensure compliance with internal standards. Drive the design, development, and implementation of effective control activities aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements. Maintain deep expertise in risk-based internal control frameworks and ensure consistent application across the organization. Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation Evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and controls, identifying gaps, deficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. Partner with business leaders to develop and execute risk mitigation and remediation plans, ensuring timely resolution and sustained compliance. Promote best practices in process design, operational efficiency, and internal controls across the Global Lifestyle business. Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, legal, compliance, and client relationship teams to align control environments with business needs. Serve as a liaison between internal teams and clients on process control initiatives and requirements. Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and business developments, ensuring impacts are proactively addressed within the control framework. Audit Oversight & Compliance Lead engagement with external auditors for SOC audits, including defining scope, coordinating resources, and ensuring accurate representation of control environments. Oversee audit execution, review and approve audit reports, and ensure remediation actions are completed within agreed timelines. Provide clear updates to senior leadership on audit outcomes, risks, and potential impacts to the business and client relationships. Leadership & Team Development Build, lead, and scale a high-performing Process Assurance team, including coaching, mentoring, and career development. Equip team members with the tools, training, and resources needed to perform effectively and drive results. Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development. Project Leadership & Operational Excellence Lead initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing business performance, strengthening controls, and improving operational outcomes. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; or a combination of education and experience, including at least 5 years of process control experience and a college degree Minimum of 5+ years of cross-functional experience within a process control or operational environment 4 years of leadership experience, including reporting to senior management and working directly with third-party clients Strong understanding of financial systems and management operations within a large organization, preferably light manufacturing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Experience utilizing AI tools to support analysis, process improvement, or operational efficiency What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
