Software Engineer

About the role

Qualys is a leading provider of information security and compliance cloud solutions. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to building high-quality, scalable, and secure software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using Java, Spring Boot, Oracle, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
• Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following standard coding practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality release cycles.
• Assist in building scalable and responsive front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
• Stay updated with new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of the codebase and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software development (full stack or backend).
• Good knowledge of Java , Spring , Spring Boot , and relational databases (Oracle preferred).
