Linguist - Chinese into English (Medical) - Remote

About the role

We are currently searching for linguists to join our Medical Talent Community . Given the highly regulated nature of the products in the American market, we are looking for senior linguists with a proven track record specifically within the Life Sciences vertical. We prioritize linguists who understand the nuances of [e.g., Clinical protocols / Pharmacovigilance / Labelling regulations] . Your specialized expertise will contribute to high-stakes medical and regulatory content. What You'll Deliver Regulatory Review: Adapting and validating target text to meet [e.g., PMDA / EMA / FDA] compliance standards. Life Sciences Expertise: Demonstrable experience in translating for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or biotechnology. Standard Operating Procedures: Ability to work within strict GxP environments and adhere to ISO 17100 quality standards.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s)
• A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR
• A graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR
• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
• Professional experience in translation and localization within the Medical/Life Sciences domains .

• Requires reliable availability and commitment. Once you accept a task, we expect quality work and on-time delivery. Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week. If your schedule is unpredictable, this may not be the right fit.
