Renewables Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, overhaul, and maintenance of complex production machinery and facility systems, ensuring alignment with operational goals and rigorous safety standards
• Take ownership of critical and time-sensitive maintenance issues by swiftly responding to emergency repairs and coordinating scheduled service activities across production equipment, mobile machinery, and vehicles
• Leverage advanced expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations
• Analyze and interpret detailed technical documentation-including schematics, blueprints, and OEM manuals-to plan and execute high-precision maintenance and repair tasks
• Perform in-depth diagnostics to identify root causes of equipment malfunctions, carry out complex repairs or component replacements, and execute validation testing to restore full operational integrity
• Oversee and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance routines on plant infrastructure and equipment, contributing to asset longevity and minimized downtime
• Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work orders, manage parts inventory, and generate performance reports to support data-driven maintenance strategies
• Serve as a safety ambassador by upholding and promoting compliance with all safety policies and regulations, proactively identifying hazards, and mentoring others in safe work practices
• Support cross-functional plant initiatives, offering technical guidance and contributing to continuous improvement efforts aimed at increasing operational efficiency and equipment reliability

• Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate's Degree preferred
• 3-5 years' relevant experience required
• Demonstrated understanding of plant systems and equipment, including but not limited to grain handling systems, processing machinery, industrial dryers, pumps, centrifuges, electrical installations, and basic Programmable Logic controller (PLC) programmi
