Responsibilities
- Develop Accountant - oversee one Accountant helping review, guide and improve upon tasks.

- Forecasting/Budgeting - Work cross-functionally across plants to prepare monthly forecasts and periodic budgets (fixed and variable costs).
- Inventory management - Assist in physical inventory counts/reconciliations as required.
- Audit/SOX Controls - Assist and help guide Audit data requests as needed.
- Process Improvement - Conduct process reviews periodically to standardize and enhance procedures across the COE (Center of Excellence). Lead the implementation of improvements identified through this process.
- Develop Relationships - Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all units and functional managers across local and remote locations to ensure accurate and timely reporting of plant financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2+ years relevant experience as Senior Accountant/Senior Analyst
- Consistently perform tasks with accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Intermediate/Advanced in Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes/cost concepts
- Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) costing systems. SAP experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions and drive improvements
- Ownership mindset on core responsibilities
- Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to various levels within the organization
- Travel required as necessary (minimal)
