Responsibilities

  • Respond to our Members when they need minor mechanical assistance, service or towing.
  • Assist in all weather conditions, ensuring a positive member experience throughout the assistance process.

  • What you've done
  • Completed your high school diploma or have relatable experience.
  • At least 1-2 years of mechanical experience, preferably within automotive.
  • You're a good driver with a clean BC Driver License Class 5. You're confident navigating our cities and towns, regardless of the vehicle size, from two-seaters to 5-ton trucks.
  • Capable of safely lifting at least 70lbs during Member service, while prioritizing safety throughout the process.
  • You're confident using technology (laptops, tablets and smartphones) and have strong English communication skills. A second language is an asset.

We are currently hiring two Temporary Full-Time Associate Fleet Technician in our Victoria, BC region. Please note that this is a 6 -month contract with the possibility for extension and/or permanent conversions, subject to performance and operational needs. The successful candidate must reside within the southern region of Vancouver Island. Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Victoria Auto Service Centre, or are not looking to relocate to the Southern Vancouver Island region will not be considered. As part of an outstanding network of 100 Road Assist team members, you'll provide friendly and professional roadside assistance or towing services to members of BCAA and affiliated clubs.
