Description of Work Reporting to the Correctional Associate Warden, this position manages the total operation of a close custody institutional housing unit within a minimum/medium/close custody prison facility. Key Duties Include: - Supervise staff daily to ensure current programs are functioning properly to meet the needs of the offender population. - Perform orientation with offenders which includes administration, disciplinary segregation, education, mental health, operations, programs, and work assignments. - Serve on disciplinary committee to determine approvals of unit classifications. - Work in accordance with departmental regulations and established procedures.
