Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care close to home. Oneida Health is a community hospital in process of rebuilding it's anesthesia team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a new team that cares for a local community. There are 8,000 cases annually consisting of Endo, General, Ortho ENT, L&D and other specialties. Awards Healthgrades 2019 Patient Safety Excellence Award Healthgrades 2019 Outstanding Patient Experience Award Case Assignments Main OR cases include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, endo and OB. OB experience is required. Shifts Monday-Friday, 7am to 3pm and 7-5pm Beeper call weekdays/weekends Team Leadership Casey Tymko, Chief Anesthesiologist Team Highlights Care Team Model

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
