Strategic Leadership: Develop long-term software strategies and roadmaps for the TeraWave constellation.
Build and Lead: Recruit, structure, and mentor a high-performing software engineering team responsible for flight and terminal software.
Architect Software: Lead the design, development, and validation of embedded software for optical and RF communications between satellites and satellites and the ground for the payload on the satellite and the ground systems.
Ensure Mission Success: Collaborate with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure software reliability and compliance with space-grade standards.
Requirements
12+ years of experience software development, with at least 8 years leading technical teams.
6+ years of experience in space flight avionics or software development.
Proven success bringing complex connected software from prototype to deployment in production.
Master's degree in software or electrical engineering, or related field.
Experience with satellite communications and bus software.
Experience with software and data security.
Compensation Range for:
CA applicants is $253,878.00 - $355,429.20
WA applicants is $253,878.00 - $355,429.20
