You will work in close collaboration with our local and international scientific experts, with the primary objective of ensuring the safety and performance of future medical devices prior to commercialization. Your responsibilities will be diverse and meaningful and will include: Contributing to the supervision of necropsies and writing the anatomic pathology section of regulatory study reports Evaluating the safety and performance of implanted/tested medical devices in preclinical models through qualitative and quantitative microscopic analyses Performing histological analyses on animal and human tissues using advanced techniques such as transmission and scanning electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, histomorphometry, and resin embedding Working directly with clients (sponsors/inventors): presenting results and discussing methodologies and techniques Authoring scientific publications and presenting results at national and international scientific conferences Participating in international working groups and collaborating with our preclinical research sites (Lyon, Diest, Minneapolis, Northwood) Contributing to the development of new techniques, methods, or experimental models Who are you? You are a licensed Veterinarian with a specialization in Anatomic Pathology (DESV‑AP), validated by a recognized board certification (ECVP or ACVP or equivalent) You are autonomous, adaptable, organized, and able to work effectively in a team environment; your scientific skills are well recognized Your listening and communication skills enable you to interact with and advise clients on study design and the interpretation of results Leadership, customer orientation, methodological rigor, scientific curiosity, and initiative are key strengths that will allow you to thrive in this role and within our organization Fluent English is required Why join NAMSA?
