Responsibilities
- Fabricate prototype assemblies (primarily steel and aluminum) using standard shop tools
- Prototype quick-turn assemblies
- Assemble Exosystems and perform installations on autonomous equipment
- Test hardware assemblies and components, refine and improve designs
- Perform equipment and facility maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop
- Operate heavy construction equipment for testing
- Work in-person at our office in San Francisco and at our testing facility in Mojave
- YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent hands-on technical ability, including prototype design and fabrication, soldering, and metalworking
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in data entry, checklists, and organization
- Able to adapt to changing conditions and priorities as needed, pick up new skills, and do what it takes to get the job done
- Work safely through adverse site conditions
- Ability to drive trucks and lift 60 lbs
