About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Chili's Grill & Bar on Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be a High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to effectively communicate with guests and team members. Must possess demonstrated experience in public-facing roles requiring strong interpersonal skills, customer service, and conflict resolution. Must possess experience in food service cashier and host/hostess duties, demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position satisfactorily. Prior experience performing cashier-checker and host/hostess duties specifically within a Chili's Grill and Bar brand location is highly preferred as well as having a current or prior certification as an authorized Chili's In-House Trainer for FOH operational areas. Must have the ability to stand for a prolonged periods of time. Must be able to occasionally lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
