Job Description
The Virtual Total Loss Estimator evaluates vehicles remotely to determine total loss eligibility, reviewing photos, valuations, and claim details in accordance with company guidelines. This role supports timely claim resolution through accurate total loss assessments, vendor coordination, and clear communication with customers and internal partners in a fact-paced, high production environment.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in estimating and a solid understanding of auto repair procedures, along with the confidence to analyze and negotiate total loss determinations with repair facilities and vendors. Proficiency in CCC and Microsoft applications is essential to support accurate evaluations and documentation. Candidates located within the Eastern or Central Time Zones are strongly preferred, as is prior experience within the auto insurance industry, particularly in roles involving estimating, damage assessment, or total loss handling.
