Operate production machinery and identify areas to optimize production performance
Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action
Who we're looking for
2 - 3 years manufacturing experience an asset
Good computer skills
Forklift certification preferred
Boiler certificate is preferred (at least Class 5)
Ability to work in rotational shifts. Rotating Weekly. Shift Time: 5.30 Am-2.00 Pm, 1.30 Pm-10.00 Pm, 09.30 Pm to 6.00 Am
You'll also need
Ability & willingness to work shifts and overtime
Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills
Ability to focus on details within a fast-paced environment
Team player and coachable
Exposure to the elements, noise and dust, and working at heights
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills with attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
