Position Information Hiring Manager: Managing Director Department: Opportunistic Structured Credit Department Overview The Structured Credit Team is a newly formed investment strategy encompassing the Firm's existing strategies investing across CLOs, ABS and structured infrastructure credit, including SRTs. The team's broad strategy will invest globally across Structured Credit and Asset-Backed Finance ("ABF") in sectors such as corporate and commercial, consumer, infrastructure, transportation, fund finance, real estate and other esoteric assets. Position Responsibilities The candidate will support the European SRT Team in structuring, reviewing and negotiating new investment opportunities and monitoring existing investments. Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Evaluating investment opportunities in corporate and infrastructure credit including direct lending investments, secondary purchases of portfolios or individual loans, NAV loans / GP financings and structured credit solutions such as SRTs, CLOs and other ABS Analysing structured equity investments as well as equity co-investments associated with loans under consideration for purchase Conducting detailed due diligence such as analysis of businesses or assets, industry, competitive landscape, financial / KPI trends, liquidity and exit strategy Preparing Investment Committee memorandums Developing financial models for all asset classes Developing strong working relationships with key internal departments including Broadly Syndicated Loans, Structured Products, Capital Markets and Direct Lending Monitoring existing investments, performing portfolio analytics and assisting in valuations Assisting in investor communications including teasers, pitch decks and custom materials for clients Other duties as assigned Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a major in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related financial discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement At least 2 years of leveraged finance, credit investing experience or project finance with knowledge of SRTs and / or CLOs Experience working with an SRT issuer or advisory firm is a plus High sense of urgency dedicated to producing consistent high-quality output Capacity to manage multiple processes simultaneously Ability to work to meet tight deadlines, using own initiative and without close supervision; strong work ethic Ability to manage changing demands in fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, strong financial modelling and accounting skills and comfortable with writing and presenting detailed memos / analytics to Investment Committee Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture #LI-DNI Critical Competencies for Success Our Gold Standards Model defines key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically.
