Doctorate degree (PhD, DrPH, PharmD, MD) and 8+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, or managed care OR
Demonstrated experience in health economics and outcomes research, including the design and execution of HEOR studies and economic models
Experience developing global value dossiers and supporting health technology assessment or payer evidence needs
Knowledge of U.S. and global healthcare systems, reimbursement pathways, and decision ‑ making processes
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

As a Director, Global Value and Access HIV, GHEOR , at Gilead you will play a critical role in advancing the value and access strategy for Gilead's HIV portfolio.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Value and Access HIV, GHEOR, this role is responsible for leading the development and execution of global health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) strategies to support marketed HIV products and the treatment pipeline. The Director will serve as a strategic, cross‑functional partner to advance evidence generation and value communication that support access, reimbursement, and appropriate patient uptake.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the development and implementation of global HEOR strategies and programs to support marketed HIV products and pipeline assets.
Serve as a strategic partner across functions, including clinical development, marketing, medical affairs, government affairs, and market access, to support commercialization and lifecycle planning.
Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop and support robust product value propositions that optimize access, reimbursement, and uptake.
Identify global HEOR evidence needs and gaps; design, conduct, and deliver studies, models, and tools to support value demonstration and product differentiation for assigned indications.
Provide HEOR input into clinical development programs to ensure evidence generation aligns with payer and health system requirements.
Collaborate with the HEOR Center of Excellence to support the development and execution of patient‑reported outcome (PRO) strategies.
Maintain current knowledge of evolving regulatory, reimbursement, and policy landscapes and cultivate external research relationships with HEOR key opinion leaders.
Disseminate HEOR data and study results through appropriate internal and external channels in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Experience supporting HIV therapies and/or infectious disease portfolios
Experience working with U.S. managed care organizations or payer‑focused evidence generation
Experience partnering with global, cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization
Experience contributing to patient‑reported outcomes strategy development and execution
