About the role
Join our global team responsible for delivering business development and marketing support across Linklaters' practices and sectors. Collaborating with lawyers and business teams worldwide, our team covers client development, pitches, directories, research and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for Leading a BD Hub team and overseeing complex workflows. Providing active hands-on service delivery alongside the team within the area of specialisation by working closely with a group of key internal stakeholders. Crafting comprehensive client, sector, and practice content (e.g. client-facing collateral, CVs, and pitch input, etc.) to facilitate client engagement. Owning delivery of high‑impact BD support for specific practices/sectors. Project management and drafting of legal directory submissions. Partnering with senior Product BD, Sector and Client Relationship Managers. Driving best practice, process optimisation and Salesforce adoption. Using data and feedback to improve service quality and resource allocation. Coaching, mentoring and developing team members' skills and careers. This role involves the line management of one of the BD Hub teams comprised of Advisors and Assistants or Assistants. This includes: Managing performance, workflow, deadlines and quality. Fostering a strong client service ethos and empowering the team. Providing clear direction, feedback and regular communication. Acting as an escalation point and supporting recruitment and onboarding. Ensuring HR processes are followed in line with firm policies.
