Primary Purpose of the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to analyze, research, investigate, document and respond to company and citizen complaints and inquiries involving specific bail bond matters, attend informal conferences held by the complaint analyst. In addition, this position must ensure that all licensees comply with North Carolina General Statues and Administrative Rules. Keeping Department management informed about findings of noncompliance and appropriate correction action is taken. Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Management Preferences: Working knowledge of bail bonding principles, practices, Department regulation and General Statutes. Working knowledge of mathematics, with some knowledge of the fundamentals of statistics. Ability to thoroughly investigate any complaints related to bail bonding and reach a well-supported finding. Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
