Responsibilities

• Deliver backend features in TypeScript and Node.js services.
• Build and maintain backend services backed by MongoDB and Redis.
• Design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Support sprint-scoped engineering work from development through merge and production deployment.
• Troubleshoot production deployment issues and CI/CD-related problems.
• Support production bug fixes, performance improvements, and work-hours incident response.
• Identify and remediate backend performance and scalability bottlenecks.
• Improve measurable production outcomes related to latency, error rate, or throughput.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product partners, and stakeholders on end-to-end feature delivery.
• Help maintain existing functionality while supporting new product roadmap work.
