Investigating Losses - Supporting the assessment of material damage and business interruption claims across Oil & Gas assets
Technical Analysis - Applying your operational knowledge to understand cause of loss, asset impact and recovery timelines
Report Writing - Ability to produce clear, structured and professional reports, articulating technical findings, loss scenarios and recommendations
Stakeholder Engagement - Working with insureds, insurers, brokers and technical experts across the region
Site Visits - Attending loss sites across the Middle East where required
Reporting - Assisting in the preparation of clear, structured reports and recommendations on complex claims
The skills you will have when you apply:
Oil & Gas Background - Experience within upstream, midstream or downstream operations , engineering, maintenance, or project environments
Technical Expertise - Strong understanding of energy assets, processes and operational risk
Commercial Awareness - Interest in developing a career within insurance and claims management
Analytical Thinking - Ability to assess complex scenarios and translate technical detail into clear outcomes
Communication Skills - Confident engaging with a range of stakeholders across different cultures and environments
Adaptability - Willingness to travel and work across the Middle East as required

Sedgwick Global Specialty is looking for individuals with strong technical expertise across Oil & Gas operations who are keen to apply their industry knowledge in a new direction - supporting the investigation and resolution of complex insurance claims.
This role offers a unique opportunity to move away from operational environments and into a commercial, advisory position, working closely with global insurers, reinsurers and industry experts on high-value energy losses.
