- Enterprise networking infrastructure and services configuration in cloud, hybrid-cloud and on-premise environments;
- Design and configuration of high availability networking infrastructure supporting operational and tactical information systems; and
- Use of systems and security engineering practices and methodologies;
- Strong working knowledge in the following areas:
- Platforms: Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 8000, Catalyst 9000, ISR 4k, NX-OS, IOS-XE;
- Virtualization/SDN: Broadcom VMware NSX, HCX;
- Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, Azure Local, Kubernetes networking;
- Firewalls: Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower Threat Defence;
- Enterprise LAN/WAN: vPC/LAG, OSPF, BGP, VRFs, MPLS, DMVPN;
- Application optimization, visibility and Quality of Service (QoS);
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows Server; and
- Automation: Ansible and python;
- Fast learner, proactive, responsive, self-driven and autonomous, excellent organizational skills, takes ownership, demonstrates pride in their work, and pays very high attention to detail; and
- Canadian citizenship, with 10 or more years residing in Canada with no periods longer than six continuous months out of country, is absolutely necessary as part of the requirements to obt
