Build the families that Revit teams love to use Hey there - we're Kinship ๐ Our platform helps architects and engineers manage Revit content, improve workflows, and bring more clarity to complex projects. We also create high-quality Revit families - some shared freely with our customers and the wider industry, others developed specifically for manufacturers. We're hiring a Revit Content Specialist to help us design and build that content - families that are clean, beautiful, and genuinely usable. This isn't about cranking out geometry - it's about crafting content that works the way real users need it to, with attention to structure, performance, and clarity. If you've built families that people love (and don't swear at), understand lookup tables, formula-driven parameters, family templates inside and out, and know your way around nested families, this might be your dream job. In this role, you will: Create high-quality Revit families for real-world use across a variety of disciplines. Ensure content is clean, consistent, well-structured, and easy to use. Work with our content team to define and maintain standards for naming, parameters, nesting, visibility, and performance. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand project needs and deliver content that fits seamlessly. Maintain and update existing content based on feedback, new requirements, or Revit versioning. Contribute to internal tools and processes for content QA, automation, and library management. We think your background probably includes: 3+ years of hands-on Revit experience, with a focus on family creation A deep understanding of how families are used in real-world project workflows Strong working knowledge of shared parameters, types, visibility settings, and nesting Experience with both hosted and non-hosted families, face-based, line-based, etc Familiarity with Revit content standards - any or multiple - is a plus Comfort reviewing and working with customer-specific content libraries and standards You're probably someone who: Can spot a bad parameter name a mile off Has a builder's mindset - you care about function, clarity, and performance Likes making complex things simple (especially for the person using your content) Enjoys refining and improving how things are built - not just what they do Appreciates precision and detail, but knows when good enough is good enough Wants to work in-person with a tight, focused team of Revit nerds, engineers, and product people
