As the Sr. Manager for Equipment Maintenance Engineering, you will lead the team responsible for ensuring optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. You will drive machine efficiency, oversee maintenance operations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and operational excellence. This role includes international collaboration and occasional travel to other Nexperia sites.
Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and execute production machine runs to meet output targets while maximizing productivity.
Allocate technical staffing and resources to support manufacturing activities efficiently.
Oversee end-to-end manufacturing equipment performance, including machine utilization, cost efficiency, OEE effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Supervise, coach, and develop Engineers and Technicians, optimizing team performance and headcount.
Define package mix, product MC flexibility, and capability requirements to meet production needs.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Provide timely and accurate OEE reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Ensure equipment compliance with audit requirements and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
10+ years of experience in Equipment Maintenance Engineering or a similar role.
Strong leadership and team development skills in line with Nexperia standards.
Excellent data analysis and technical knowledge to meet manufacturing objectives.
Proven ability to schedule and organize maintenance activities to maximize machine efficiency.
Experience managing operational costs and driving efficiency and savings.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with teams, management, and stakeholders.
Customer-focused mindset and strong drive for improvement.
Experience with international collaboration and travel.
Familiarity with advanced OEE tracking systems and reporting tools.
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or other operational excellence methodologies.
