Lab Tech, Department of Neurology - Georgetown University Medical Center
Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate research involving stroke patients, epilepsy patients, and healthy volunteers
Assist with experimental design, programming, experiment setup, and data analysis volunteers
Conduct behavioral, fMRI, and brain stimulation experiments in stroke patients and healthy
Conduct behavioral and fMRI experiments in epilepsy patients and healthy volunteers
Oversee day-to-day lab operations

Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree is required before the start of this position. A major in Neuroscience, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred
Prior experience in human neuroscience research, esp. neuroimaging techniques, is strongly preferred.
Basic computer skills are required, good programming skills in MATLAB or Python will be a plus, but not required, as it can be learned in the lab.
This is a fully-funded position that comes with full benefits. Initial appointment is for 1 year, but can be renewed for up to 3 years.

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
