Full-Time Positions Available, Set Schedule (8hour shifts) includes working every other weekend. The Western Nebraska Veterans' Home is gearing up for our next Nurse Aide Training Class! If you are passionate about caring for others and you're looking to further your career, you have come to the right place! Incumbents for this position will be understaffed as a Staff Care Technician I while in training. Once the certification process is successfully completed they will be transitioned to Staff Care Technician II. The training course will begin on Wednesday, July 8th and will run through Tuesday, July 21, 2026. New Hire Orientation will take place on Monday, July 6th and Tuesday, July 7th, 2026. The training class and NEO will be daily, Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and testing for certification will follow successful completion of the training course.
