About the role
Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Host to be based in The Fulton! Reporting directly to the General Manager , this role is responsible for welcoming/greeting guests to the restaurant and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. - Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about the menu, and offer guidance on restaurant policies to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Keep the host/ hostess station and waiting area tidy, contributing to the overall cleanliness and attractiveness of the restaurant.
- Address guest concerns or issues with professionalism and tact, seeking assistance from management when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, managing reservations, and coordinating with servers, while maintaining a positive and composed demeanor.
- Promote special events , menu items, or promotions to guests, contributing to increased sales and overall customer enjoyment.
- Work collaboratively with the serving staff, kitchen team, and management to facilitate a smooth and efficient dining service.
- About You
- 1+ year of host experience in a fine dining, high volume setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage waitlist dynamics effectively.
- Positive and friendly attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic restaurant operations is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards .
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 - 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis).
- Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.
- Compensation: $ 1 8 - $24 per hour
