About the role

The Manufacturing Scheduling Analyst is responsible for managing a segment of the manufacturing operation schedule, coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and reports to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the SAP system to generate, analyze, and manage manufacturing schedule reports.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee material readiness and production progress to ensure the timely delivery of critical shipments to customers, including tracking progress via Jira and identifying/resolving product issues.
  • Analyze FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory reports and collaborate with production teams to mitigate risks associated with aging inventory and potential excesses.
  • Proactively escalate any potential committed schedule impacts (e.g., capacity constraints, supply risks, operational interruptions) to management with proposed solutions.
  • Manage and expedite manufacturing progress-including build, test, repair, and packing phases-by strategically allocating resources to ensure schedules are met.
  • Perform comprehensive data analysis of demand and supply trends, generating various status reports to drive manufacturing processes and managing inventory toward achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Coordinate with Engineering (ENG) and Information Technology (IT) teams to optimize tools and reporting mechanisms, enhancing process efficiency and overall operational performance.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field. (preferred)
  • Relevant manufacturing operations management experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access/Database); and experience using enterprise systems such as SAP, SFC, WMS, Lean methodologies, or similar platforms.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to take ownership, share information transparently, and communicate effectively and appropriately across all audience levels.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, vital for collaborating effectively across different departments.
  • Time Management: Excellent ability to prioritize and schedule tasks efficiently to maximize productivity.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution.
