Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience at the GS-11 level in developing and maintaining schedules, budgets, acquisition plans and specifications. Using professional knowledge and techniques including mapping, charting, and hydrographic survey operation. Providing technical direction to junior employees. Ensuring coordination with other district elements, outside agencies, stakeholders, and sponsors, to execute assigned projects. Knowledge of deep draft navigation, dredging, topographic and hydrographic survey techniques. Identifying, monitoring, and reporting on issues threatening project execution and developing and presenting solutions to those issues.
