Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders of food and drinks
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails to High West's specifications
Plan and present bar menu
Check customers' identification and confirm it meets Utah's drinking requirements
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies before and after each shift
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations for the State of Utah
Requirements
Minimum
2+ Years mixing for a hand-crafted cocktail program
Completed Spirit education class; BarSmarts
Food and Alcohol certifications required within 90 days of employment
Detail oriented, creative and quality focused
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; yet able to work productively as part of a team.
Excellent work ethic and interpersonal skills.
Able to recite, prepare and differentiate between the basic classic cocktails
Excellent communication skills
Work Environment:
Works outdoors/indoors
Works in warm/cold climates
Works in high places
Works on wet surfaces
Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals
Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic
Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
