Three (3) + years' related experience in a law firm, corporation, non-profit agency, or government agency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage organized processes and systems, including planning, forecasting and follow through until completion
Strong problem solving skills
Experience managing contracts through all stages to include contract language and potential areas of risk or liability for the organization
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgement in making decisions and addressing problems
Ability to work productively, independently, and creatively in an evolving environment
Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet as well as willingness to learn state and Agency specific information technology systems
Ability to work on site in Manchester, NH office, with allowance to work remotely up to two days per week
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
This is an on-site role based in Manchester, NH, with the option to work remotely up to two days per week.
Compensation: $66,000 - $70,000 annually, based upon experience and education.
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Easterseals NH & VT team! U nder the direction of the Senior Vice President of Business Process and Compliance, the Paralegal will perform complex, highly responsible and specialized support duties involving legal, compliance, contracting, document management and audit, in an efficient and transparent manner.
Key responsibilities include:
Work closely and collaboratively with agency programs, departments and external vendors with document review, draft terms and collection of supporting documentation.
Work with programs and departments to create a process of periodic audit of compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies and procedures
Independently anticipate and identify potential process issues and create mitigation strategy.
Maintain an organized document repository with clearly identified deadlines and upcoming expirations.
Effectively and proactively communicate with agency stakeholders via transparent processes, providing communication of milestones deadlines and required actions to ensure follow through until completion.
Participate in meetings as subject matter expert and contribute thoughtfully while maintaining a collaborative, growth mindset demeanor when addressing challenges and problem solving.
Work with Finance Department to ensure revenue cycle management of each contract is compliant
Design and implement efficient processes when intended for Agency-wide usage.
Understand and manage criteria that may exclude an entity or individual from engagement with the agency.
Issue litigation hold requests; collect and categorize all documents received.
Respond to external party requests (general liability insurance, auditors, state agencies, etc.) and troubleshoot issues.
Coordinate with agency insurance carriers to ensure proper coverage on pending litigation.
Draft, review, and edit policies and other documents, according to Easterseals or State Agency procedures.
Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis upon request.
Draft minutes for committee meetings (Risk, Compliance, 403(b) Investment, etc.)
Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
