Assess the strategic needs, growth ambitions, and capital requirements of master franchise partners across the Asia Pacific region.
Identify opportunities to optimize market structures through refranchising, recapitalizations, capital injections, territory expansions, or ownership restructuring.
Structure incentive frameworks and commercial arrangements that drive long-term alignment between RBI and its franchise partners.
Support negotiations of commercial terms with external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Develop comprehensive investment proposals, including financial models, returns analyses, and strategic rationale, for presentation to RBI senior leadership and investment committees.
Negotiate and finalize long-term legal franchise agreements in partnership with internal legal teams, ensuring clarity of rights, obligations, performance metrics, and governance structures.
Transaction Execution & Capital Strategy
Support and execute transaction structures including secondary equity sales, primary equity investments, debt instruments, joint ventures, or other hybrid arrangements
Identify financing solutions to ensure franchisees maintain adequate liquidity to support growth.
Conduct financial and operational due diligence on prospective franchise partners or investment targets.
Coordinate cross-border transaction processes, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and RBI internal governance standards.
Manage transaction timelines, stakeholder communication, and documentation processes through to closing.
Financial Oversight & Performance Management
Oversee ongoing financial monitoring of franchise partners, including review and analysis of income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and key operating metrics.
Identify financial risks and performance gaps early, developing mitigation plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide forward-looking analysis on franchisee health, growth capacity, and capital sufficiency.
Translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, Development, and Marketing teams to ensure franchise transactions and initiatives align with broader corporate objectives.
Serve as a regional liaison between internal RBI teams to facilitate consistent communication and coordinated execution.

Our Opportunity
Restaurant Brands International is seeking a high-caliber, strategically minded professional to join our Asia Pacific team as Manager, Franchising. This role plays a critical part in shaping RBI's long-term growth trajectory across the region by structuring and executing strategic partnerships with large master franchise organizations.
The Franchising Manager will be responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and implementing franchising and investment transactions that align with RBI's brand and financial objectives. The role requires a balance of financial rigor, legal awareness, and stakeholder influence. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of corporate strategy, capital markets, and franchise operations - driving mutually beneficial growth while ensuring long-term brand integrity and financial sustainability.
This position requires the ability to negotiate effectively with sophisticated external counterparties while simultaneously building alignment and conviction among internal senior leadership and investment committees.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite 5 days per week.
