Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Developer

Responsibilities

• SOA & Integration Development
• -Design, build, and maintain SOA composite applications including BPEL processes, Mediator services, ESB integrations, Oracle Service Bus (OSB) and SOAP/REST services using Oracle SOA Suite components.
• -Develop integration solutions supporting logistics, supply chain, and enterprise business operations for a DoD environment.
• -Participate in code reviews, integration validations, and release readiness activities.
• -Contribute to technical design sessions, system walkthroughs, and solution refinement discussions. Quality, Documentation & Compliance
• -Produce technical documentation, mapping specs, and test evidence following AFS and DoD client standards.
• -Ensure all development aligns with federal cybersecurity, configuration management, and quality assurance requirements.
• -Maintain compliance with data handling and security policies appropriate for DoD environments.
• Here's What You Need:
• -BS/BA
• -4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, OSB/ESB) and service-oriented integration development.
• -Proficiency with XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT, and Web Services.
• -4+ years' experience with Java, PL/SQL, or similar technologies supporting enterprise integration.
• -Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to analyze logs, payloads, and service flows.
• -4+ years' experience working in Agile development environments.
• Bonus Points If You Have:
• -Experience with configuring and implementing Oracle B2B including experience with Document Editor to create Guideline Files, Definitions, Configure Trading Partners, and B2B Agreements.
• -Experience delivering integrations for defense, federal, or other regulated environments.
• -Familiarity with DevSecOps platforms, automated testing tools, or Oracle Cloud technologies.
• -Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
• $86,400 - $176,200 USD
