About the role

Reporting to the Dean of School, successful applicants will contribute to the innovative teaching and research culture in the School. You will enhance the student experience through the delivery of outstanding teaching, focusing on pedagogic innovation and the development of professional skills. Your research agenda will be ambitious, and will demonstrate capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration, international, domestic and industry partnerships, and a commitment to real-world impact. You will have a record of high-quality publications and grant success commensurate with your experience and opportunity. Your employment history will include service and/or leadership roles within the University sector and beyond. Teaching and Research academics are employed in balanced roles of 40% Teaching, 40% Research and 20% Service Teaching and Research Academic Teaching and Research Academic is a balanced academic role which will combine elements of research (40%), teaching (40%), leadership and service (20%).
