This position is Contingent Upon Contract Award Torch is seeking a talented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering is a rapidly growing discipline within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community, enabling more efficient, data-driven approaches to complex system development and analysis. Job Responsibilities: Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability for complex systems. Develop and maintain system architectures, designs, and interface control documents. Conduct system-level testing, verification, and validation activities. Participate in trade studies, risk assessments, and technical reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers. Support the integration and testing of system components and subsystems. Document technical specifications, test plans, and project reports. Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools where applicable. Provide technical support and expertise throughout the system development lifecycle. Job Qualifications: US Citizenship. Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 6-10+ years of experience in systems engineering. Familiarity with systems engineering processes (e.g., requirements management, architecture definition, verification and validation). Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect) is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with SysML modeling, tools, and techniques. Experience with AFSIM is a plus. Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain an SCI. Schedule: M-F; 8-5 Work Location: Customer- site Travel: Yes, 0-10% Relocation Assistance Available: No #LI-TS1
