As an Equipment Operator , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient processing of inbound materials and refuse of various forms through Reworld's industrial disposal process.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts, front-end-loaders, street sweeper, automated feed system, and other equipment.
• Perform equipment inspections.
• Monitor vehicle activity on the tipping floor.
• Take appropriate action to prevent equipment damage or personal injury.
• Record data and report equipment malfunctions.
• Perform painting, cleanup work and various other tasks.
• Assist in maintaining the grounds and housekeeping of the facility.
• Ensure compliance with established environmental and safety practices.
• Assist plant operations and maintenance.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED is preferred. Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.
• Must possess good mechanical aptitude.
• Must have the ability to operate such equipment as referenced above.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be respirator fit tested and able to work with a respirator.

• Physical Demands:
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
• Qualify to wear a full- face respirator
• Consistently work in various weather conditions
• Shift Work:
• Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Overtime is required .

• The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $56,900.00 - $75,700.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
