Demonstrates an advanced understanding of refinery operations, economics, and market dynamics for multiple refineries. Able to mentor junior engineers in planning and optimization strategies.
Leads collaboration meetings within the value chain to discuss both local and regional economic drivers.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
Four (4) years relevant experience. Technical Services or Economics & Planning experience preferred

Commercial has an opening for the position of Crude Planning & Optimization Engineer. This position will report to the Planning and Optimization Manager. The candidate will collaborate daily with crude oil traders, schedulers, and Value Chain Optimization personnel to develop an optimal regional crude slate. To be successful, the candidate should be results driven with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, an effective communicator, and have curiosity to further develop an advanced understanding of refinery operations, economics, and market dynamics across the value chain.
