SAP Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Architect with experience in SAP implementation, architecture design, and solution delivery. The SAP Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, integrated, and high-performing SAP solutions aligned with business objectives, while ensuring best practices, security, and long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end SAP solution architectures across SAP S/4HANA and related SAP modules.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and robust SAP technical and functional designs.
• Define system integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Provide architectural guidance during SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and migrations.
• Ensure alignment with SAP best practices, enterprise architecture standards, and governance models.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, BASIS, and integration teams to ensure quality solution delivery.
• Drive performance optimization, scalability, availability, and reliability of SAP landscapes.
• Support SAP security, authorization concepts, and data protection requirements.
• Review and approve technical designs, custom developments, and system configurations.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to SAP project teams.
• Stay current with SAP roadmaps, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 8-10 years of hands-on SAP experience with strong exposure to solution architecture roles.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, or related areas.
• Experience in SAP integrations using PI/PO, CPI, IDocs, APIs, or middleware platforms.
• Solid understanding of SAP landscape design, transport management, and system administration concepts.
• Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, and SAP Fiori/UI5.
• SAP certifications such as SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect or module-specific certifications.
• Experience in SAP system conversions (ECC to S/4HANA) and landscape transformation projects.
• Knowledge of SAP security, GRC, and authorization concepts.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) hosting SAP workloads.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
• Prior experience working in large enterprise or global SAP programs.
