Job Description Summary: Manager: Senior Director, Innovation Role Type: Individual Contributor Language: Fluent English & Mandarin Relocation Provided: limited relocation available (domestic location). Please note: This role is not a fully remote position. The selected candidate will need to be based in Shanghai and follow our hybrid work setup. Job Summary As Senior Manager, Innovation-Packaging & Equipment, you will lead the creation and development of consumer-centric packaging and equipment solutions across the full portfolio. This role focuses on the full consumer experience when interacting with our products developing insight-driven packaging and equipment solutions. You will partner with insights, category, channel, franchise, TISC and R&D stakeholders to shape the packaging and equipment innovation funnel. This role sits within the GC&M OU Innovation Hub, a newly created department designed to turn innovation into a focused, scalable growth engine for the business. The Hub plays an end-to-end role across pipeline, process, performance, and projects, ensuring innovation is fewer, bigger, and bolder. As a newly established organization, the Innovation Hub offers a unique opportunity to shape how innovation works in GC&M-defining ways of working, building capabilities, and setting the bar for how innovation drives real growth. Team members will not just execute innovation; they will help design the future innovation model for the system. Key Responsibilities and Requirements: - Apply Design Thinking methodologies to drive innovative solutions in packaging and equipment, ensuring the our solutions are rooted in consumer experience. - Always focus on elevating the Consumer Experience by integrating consumer insights and feedback into every stage of concept, packaging, and equipment development. - Demonstrate a passion-driven attitude toward your work, continuously seeking new ways to bring energy, creativity, and inspiration to teams and stakeholders. - Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, proactively identifying and addressing challenges to deliver breakthrough innovation and operational solutions. What You'll Do for Us Pipeline: Create & Prioritize Innovation Funnel -Support the identification, shaping, and prioritization of innovation opportunities within packaging and equipment such as e-commerce packaging solution or Meals O2O for our products. -Maintain visibility and coherence of the 12-36 month innovation pipeline, aligned to Innovation Hub and category priorities. Process: Shape Early Stage Innovation Development -Apply the Innovation Hub process (Innovation Council, I3 gates) to ensure high quality, timely decisions throughout early development. -Support the evolution and continuous improvement of Innovation Hub ways of working. Performance: Enable Learning, Scale & Accountability -Support definition and tracking of innovation success metrics to inform scale/kill decisions. -Capture postlaunch learnings and translate insights into pipeline improvements and future innovation choices. -Ensure innovations are evaluated through a growth, ROI, and system scalability lens. Projects: Drive Priority Innovation Initiatives -Provide project leadership for high priority innovation projects in packaging/equipment, working cross-functionally from concept through early commercialization. -Coordinate with R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial teams and bottlers to ensure innovations are deployable, scalable, and execution ready. Requirements & Qualifications Education -Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, or related field.
