Job Description: The Finance and Treasury Data Governance team is a close-knit team of professionals who oversees business alignment and adherence to Data Risk Management (DRM) policy and EDMO (Enterprise Data Management Office) standards and procedures for Global Finance and Treasury. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining robust data governance practices for the Enterprise Treasury function. As a designated Data Steward, you will not only develop and execute key data governance activities but also empower your business partners to understand and manage their critical data assets effectively. You will be instrumental in ensuring our data adheres to enterprise policies, standards, and strategies, contributing to better insights, reduced risk, and improved operational efficiency. A preferred candidate will have prior experience or understanding of Treasury overall functions and reporting, knowledge of Data Governance and Stewardship, and effective communication skills with the ability to foster relationships while influencing change. The candidate will need to be comfortable working in a rapidly changing governance landscape and have a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to learn from others, regardless of role or seniority. Key responsibilities may include collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues, challenging remediation activities throughout a data concern lifecycle, and promoting data literacy initiatives within the organization. You will be expected to proactively monitor compliance with data governance frameworks, facilitate data-related training sessions, and support audit and regulatory review processes. In addition, you would be responsible for facilitating compliance with Basel Ongoing Compliance (Basel OCP) and Risk Data Aggregation & Risk Reporting (RDARR) programs. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Basel OCP End-to-End Lead: Accountable coordinator for the Basel OCP lifecycle, responsible for defining the end-to-end data scope, driving assessment execution, performing challenge, and ensuring full certification of Basel data controls. RDARR Risk Owner/Liaison: Accountable for collaborating with 1A business to ensure the end-to-end integrity of risk data aggregation and reporting, including control design, data quality, regulatory compliance, and issue remediation. Data Governance & Standards Adherence: Ensures business areas comply with EDIMP and EDM Standards by establishing and monitoring effective data governance processes. Data Risk & Control Management: Provides independent oversight, challenge, and escalation of data risks and control deficiencies to ensure effective risk mitigation. Oversight of Data Management Processes: Governs end-to-end data management practices to ensure data is accurate, complete, timely, and aligned to enterprise requirements. Independent Challenge & Review: Reviews and challenges data management artifacts and processes to validate compliance with enterprise standards prior to implementation. Issue Management & Remediation Oversight: Oversees identification, escalation, and remediation of data issues, ensuring timely resolution and validation before closure. Monitoring, Metrics & Reporting: Tracks, assesses, and reports on data governance performance and control effectiveness to support oversight and regulatory transparency.
